InstructionalDesign in Online Learning
Throughout this course, I examined the key principles and best practices that contribute to effective and impactful digital instruction. As part of this exploration, I designed a blended learning course intended to engage undergraduate learners through interactive activities and meaningful assessments. The following pages detail the process of piloting an enhanced blended learning model in my classroom, including the design framework, implementation strategies, and feedback collection. This feedback informed ongoing refinements to optimize the learning experience for my students.

Instructional Design
This page presents my instructional design plan for reading, where I transition from a traditional competency-based model to an outcome-based approach using blended learning. The goal is to create a learning environment that gives students choice, ownership, and voice through meaningful, authentic learning experiences.

Course Implementation Overview
For this assignment, I was tasked with developing and sharing the “Start Here” module along with the first one to two instructional modules of my online or blended course. The goal was to create a clear, student-friendly introduction to the course and begin building out the learning experience in a way that aligns with effective design and implementation practices. This initial course build serves as the foundation for gathering peer feedback and refining the rest of the course.
