Step 1: Identifying Challenges and Sharing Experiences
Time: 10 minutes

In the opening of the session, faculty will reflect on the challenges they’re facing in their courses. They will be asked to share these challenges with the group, providing a foundation for the session and helping to tailor the discussion to their needs. This step fosters a collaborative environment where faculty can connect over common obstacles.

Step 2: Exploring Core Principles of Blended Learning
Time: 15 minutes

Next, faculty will explore the core principles of blended learning. They will discuss how these principles can be applied to their courses, helping them understand the potential for integrating technology with traditional teaching methods. This step allows faculty to deepen their understanding of blended learning and its benefits.

Step 3: Sharing Digital Learning Tools
Time: 10 minutes

Faculty will share digital learning tools they’ve found useful in their teaching practices. This activity encourages peer learning and helps faculty discover new tools to enhance their courses. The goal is to create a collaborative environment where faculty can learn from each other’s experiences.

Step 4: Interactive Activity - Setting Up a Google Classroom
Time: 20 minutes
In this hands-on activity, faculty will set up their own Google Classroom. They will follow the steps provided to create a classroom that can be used to engage students in a blended learning environment. This step helps faculty practice using technology in a real-world setting and understand how it can be integrated into their teaching.

Step 5: Setting Meaningful Goals for Professional Development
Time: 15 minutes

After exploring the tools and strategies, faculty will reflect on their personal and professional development goals. They will set specific, actionable goals related to the implementation of blended learning and digital tools in their courses. This step helps faculty take ownership of their professional growth and plan for ongoing development.

Step 6: Preparing for Ongoing Engagement in Future Training Sessions
Time: 10 minutes

Finally, faculty will discuss strategies for staying engaged in future professional development sessions. They will reflect on how they can continue learning and applying new ideas moving forward. This step reinforces the importance of ongoing learning and ensures faculty remain engaged beyond the initial session.
